Welcome to Subh Vivah Setu (the "App"). By creating an account you explicitly agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully — the most critical parts concern your personal safety, data privacy, and our limits of responsibility.

1. Eligibility & who can use the App

2. We are only an intermediary platform

Important: Subh Vivah Setu operates strictly as an online intermediary under Section 79 of the Indian IT Act — a digital space that lets users create profiles and connect. Members create their own accounts and enter their own information. We do not arrange marriages, match profiles manually, act as counselors, or become a party to any communication, meeting, engagement or marriage that results from using the App.

4. Your safety — meet at your own risk

We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline. If you choose to talk to, meet, or enter into any relationship with another member, you do so entirely at your own risk. Meet only in safe public places, involve your family early, and never send money, gifts or financial help to anyone you find on the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Subh Vivah Setu, its founders and affiliates are not liable for:

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. Our total aggregate liability for any established claim is limited to the amount (if any) you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

7. Contact sharing — the "Mutual Interest" rule

Your verified phone number is completely hidden from public view. It is revealed to another member only if both of you have expressed mutual interest (a mutual like / accepted request). After a mutual match, how you communicate is between you two, at your own choice.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these Terms, appear fake, or are reported for misconduct — at our sole discretion, to keep the community safe.

9. Payments

Any paid features (if offered) will be clearly priced before purchase. Payments, when enabled, are processed by our third-party aggregator Razorpay; we do not store your card or net-banking credentials. Refunds, if any, follow the terms shown at checkout.

10. Grievance Redressal Officer (GRO)

In compliance with the Information Technology Act and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), any complaint regarding data misuse, security, harassment or fake profiles may be directed to our designated Grievance Officer:

We acknowledge all grievances within 36 hours and aim to resolve legitimate, documented complaints within 15 days of receipt.

12. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute is subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uttarakhand, India.
